Passive study — reading about grammar, watching videos, reviewing notes — has its place, but it can only take you so far. Progress in Spanish comes from actually using it: speaking, forming sentences, making mistakes, and adjusting. Every lesson gives you opportunities to do that in a low-pressure, encouraging environment.

A vocabulary list is easy to forget. A word you've used in a real sentence — connected to something you said, a situation you described, or a topic you care about — is much harder to lose. We build vocabulary through conversation and context, not drilling.

Grammar is useful — but only when it helps you communicate. Rather than working through grammar tables in sequence, we introduce structures when they're relevant to what you're trying to say. That way, grammar becomes a tool rather than a subject.

Listening and speaking are two sides of the same skill. We spend time on both — not just producing Spanish, but also understanding it when it comes back at you. This makes your Spanish more rounded and prepares you for real interactions.

Feedback that's too vague doesn't help you improve. I pay attention to the specific patterns in how you speak and write, and give you feedback that's directly useful — not just corrections, but explanations that help you understand why.

Everyone moves through a language differently. Some topics click quickly; others take more time. The pace of your lessons adapts to how you're doing — we don't rush past things that need more attention, and we don't slow down unnecessarily when you're ready to move forward.
