Common questions

If you have a question that isn't answered here, feel free to reach out directly.

Do I need previous Spanish experience to start?

Not at all. Lessons are available for complete beginners. If you've never studied Spanish before, we'll start from the very beginning and build your foundation step by step.

Are lessons suitable for complete beginners?

Yes. Beginners are very welcome. We'll move at a pace that feels manageable, focusing on the basics of vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple conversation before gradually building from there.

Are lessons online?

Yes, all lessons are online and conducted one-on-one via video call. This means you can take lessons from home or anywhere with a reliable internet connection, regardless of where you're located.

Can lessons focus mostly on conversation?

Absolutely. If conversation is your main goal, that's what we'll focus on. We'll spend the bulk of each session speaking and listening, with grammar and vocabulary introduced naturally as they come up.

Can you help me improve my grammar?

Yes. Grammar support is one of the tutoring areas. We work through the structures that confuse you — conjugations, tenses, ser vs. estar, and more — in a way that makes practical sense rather than just memorizing rules.

Can lessons be adapted to my specific goals?

Yes, that's exactly the point. Lessons are shaped around what you actually want to do with Spanish — whether that's travel, work, conversation, grammar improvement, or something else entirely. There's no fixed curriculum.

How often should I take lessons?

That depends on your goals and schedule. Consistent practice tends to produce better results than sporadic sessions. Once or twice a week is a common starting point, but we can discuss what works best for you.

What do I need for an online lesson?

A computer, tablet, or phone with a reliable internet connection and a working camera and microphone. A quiet space where you can speak freely makes a big difference. No special software is required — we'll use a standard video call platform.

What levels do you work with?

All levels — from complete beginners to intermediate learners looking to refine their Spanish. If you're unsure of your level, don't worry. We'll figure it out together in the first session.

How do I get started?

Just get in touch through the contact form or by email. Tell me a bit about your current level and what you're hoping to work on, and we'll go from there.
